POLICY
 
At Carparts2u, it is our mission to sell quality items at the best prices, backed by timely shipping and unbeatable service. All our items meet the Australian standards for quality, are fit for purpose and match their description.
 
In line with the Australian Consumer Law, we will work with you to resolve any issue(s) to the satisfaction of both parties.
 
The terms and conditions included in each listing, the website user agreement and the winning bid constitute the contract between Carparts2u and the winning bidder for the provision of products. Winning bidders are assumed to agree with full terms and conditions when buying or bidding on Carparts2u products. And, while all care is given, any errors or omissions in the product listing are unintentional.
 
WARRANTY
 
Carparts2u offers a 24-month warranty on all radiators from the date of purchase. All conditions below are based upon the product being faulty and/or not performing as described. If your item arrives damaged or not as described, please refer to the Policy.
 
The warranty does not extend to damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, natural disaster or act of God or other external causes; to damage caused by operating the equipment in a manner outside that described in the instructions.
 
All accessories and bonus gifts are not covered by warranty.

 
30 DAY RETURN PERIOD
 

If for any reason you have changed your mind following a purchase, or you have ordered the incorrect part, we’re happy to work with you to return the item. To qualify for this offer, it is important to follow the guidelines below:

  • We must be notified within 30 days of you receiving the item and that you intend to return it. The item must then be returned within 7 days following this notification*. *See RETURNING ITEMS.
  • The item must be returned in original re-saleable condition with all tags, labels and packaging in tact (ready to be put back on the shelf).
  • The item/s are not opened, used, worn or damaged, and are in perfect condition when we receive them. 
  • That you do not stick or write anything on the item itself or its packaging. You may be required to wrap the item and attach postage stickers and any labels to the outer packaging you supplied.
  • The item is securely packed to ensure it is returned to us in original and pristine condition.
  • Handling fees will apply when returning: Buyer will pay return postage unless otherwise stated or if part is damaged or incorrect item was sent. The return postage will be deducted from the total refund provided if we Carparts2u organise return freight or if the buyer pays for return delivery then Carparts2u will give complete refund for part only.
  • If the item has sustained damage in transit, or does not return as noted above, a revised refund amount may be required.

  • Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
DAMAGED OR FAULTY PRODUCT

Should your item not function on arrival you are entitled to return the product to us for a full refund or replacement product (unless otherwise stated). The item needs to be returned and inspected prior to any refund being processed. The outcome of the inspection will take no longer than 5 business days from the date the item is received by our service department.
 
  • Carparts2u can provide details allowing the return of the item at no cost to the customer (where freight costs apply).
  • If a part supplied by Carparts2u has been identified as Faulty or Damaged, this is covered under a Parts Only Warranty. Any outside labour costs incurred, external damages outside of the product or subsidiary parts will not be covered under warranty. 
  • Where the customer has contributed to the failure, or been misleading in their description of their issues, Carparts2u may withhold a portion or all of the refund. If the warranty claim is rejected, the item is to be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. Freight cost not to exceed original freight cost. Where item was purchased with free postage, freight costs are to be set at 20% of the item cost. Payment to be made to Carparts2u within 14 days of being notified of warranty rejection. Storage fees to apply beyond this time.
  • Where money is owed to Carparts2u for repairs and/or postage, Carparts2u is entitled to hold onto the item until payment is made. Storage fees to apply beyond 14 days at 5% of the original product cost until the credit expires.

SHIPPING AT BUYER'S RISK
 
We understand how difficult it can be to find good quality parts at affordable prices. Our goal is to offer reliable parts at a price everyone can afford. We send out hundreds of parts every week through various courier companies. Unfortunately these companies do not offer freight insurance on our larger panel product range (such as bonnets). The complete list of items sent at buyer's risk is below.
 
  • Bonnets
  • Tailgates
  • Boot lids
  • Front doors
  • Rear doors
  • Door shells

Please note that with this product range we do offer shipping, however, these items are sent at buyer's risk. Therefore, if you have ordered one of these panels and it sustains any damage during transit the onus falls onto the buyer. Obviously we are supplying a brand-new product and we intend for the product to arrive in the same condition it leaves our distribution centre - in a perfect, untouched condition. We have various procedures in place for checking, packing and wrapping these items to ensure there is minimal risk of damage occuring during transit, however, damage can still occur. We endeavour to be as transparent as possible with our customers to ensure they are aware there is always a risk of damage occurring during transit and, if damage does occur, the liability falls onto the buyer.

REFUNDS, REPAIRS AND SERVICE

Until the nature of any fault is determined, the resolution Carparts2u can offer may vary. Where necessary, the item may need to be returned to determine fault/issue (see RETURNING ITEMS below regarding freight costs).
 
  • Once the fault/issue is clarified, Carparts2u may offer replacement parts to the customer. Other alternatives may be offered to the satisfaction of both parties.
  • Where replacement is not possible, any refund offered may be less than the sale price, depending upon any contribution the owner may have made to the fault/failing.
  • Where the customer has contributed to the failure, or been misleading in their description of their issues, Carparts2u may not accept the warranty claim. If the warranty claim is rejected, the item is to be returned to the customer at the customer cost. Freight cost not to exceed original freight cost. Where item was purchased with free postage, freight costs are to be set at 20% of the item cost. Payment to be made to Carparts2u within 14 days of being notified of warranty rejection. Storage fees to apply beyond this time.
  • Where money is owed to carparts2u for replacement and postage due to incorrect fitting of product, carparts2u is entitled to hold onto the item until payment is made. Storage fees to apply beyond 14 days at 5% of the original product cost until the credit expires.
  • The warranty is considered void if the item has been modified, altered or tampered with by a person (or persons) not authorised by Carparts2u service.
  • At no time is Carparts2u liable to pay any labour cost to fitting or re-fitting of a faulty product.
  • If a part has been incorrecty purchased or incorrectly sent Carparts2u will work with the customer and the costs of the order will be covered by whoever is at fault. If Carparts2u is responsibile for sending the incorrect item we will work with the customer to either exchange it for the correct part or organise a refund for the order amount only. At no time is Carparts2u liable to pay any additional labour costs incurred or subsidiary parts assosicated
  • If the part has been altered in anyway to its original state the warranty, return or exchange may be void

RETURNING ITEMS
 
If for any of the above reasons you are required to return an item, the following steps need to be followed:
 
  • Email info@carparts2u.com.au stating your order number, the item/s you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  • Our customer service department will review your email and, if applicable, issue you a return authorisation (invoice) number which must be included on the address label. All other relevant information will be sent to you at this time.
  • Carparts2u will not accept the return of any item/s without an RMA attached.
To enable Carparts2u to continue offering the very best price, freight arrangements vary depending upon the time that has expired since purchase.
 
DISPATCH
 
Items are generally dispatched within 1-2 business days after payment is cleared however, please allow approximately 7- 10 business days for it to arrive. Buyers will be able to trace the delivery online with a unique tracking number.
 
Buyers have the full responsibility to provide us with the correct delivery address and mobile phone number on the checkout page before payment. Courier providers (not Australia Post) normally contact the buyer prior to the delivery day.
 
Any changes to address after checkout will not be considered as valid.
 
Carparts2u is not liable for any delay, losses and/or damage of items due to changes of delivery address after checkout, or mistakes made by buyers. This also includes failure to provide an answered phone number which is essential to facilitate delivery of bulky freight. Please be aware that PO Boxes cannot receive items above 25kg or longer than 1 metre. We highly recommend that you change your delivery address to a workplace for items that are large and bulky.
 
Where goods are sent through Australia Post, the buyer may receive a card in their letterbox indicating their item is available for pickup from their local post office.
 
A redelivery fee will be charged to buyers for items that are undeliverable and/or returned to AGR due to incorrect delivery address or unsuccessful delivery. Items will only be delivered during normal business hours (9am to 5pm) on weekdays. Delivery is not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.
 
PAYMENT
 
To ensure a smooth transaction, please follow the payment instructions laid out in the checkout. If you are new to the website and unsure how to purchase, please send us a message by clicking on ‘CONTACT SELLER’ and our customer service team will be happy to assist.
 
We accept payments through credit card, PayPal or bank deposit. Once your payment has cleared, we will ship your item within 1-2 business days. Carparts2u is not liable for any unidentified payments or delays of delivery due to failure to follow instructions during checkout.
 

Some of our items sell with varying freight costs. Simply enter your postcode into the postage calculator on most listings to determine the cost to your area. As the ebay system does not accept variable freight costs in the initial check-out, you will receive an automated email following your purchase which outlines the simple instructions to forward the additional postage costs.

 

PRIVACY POLICY
 
Carparts2u makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes only: user's server address; user's top level domain name, date and time of visit to the site, pages accessed, documents downloaded and the type of browser used. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect the service provider's logs. Carparts2u will only record your personal details, SMS Phone Number or email address if you complete and submit any forms on this website or send an email to any of Carparts2u's email addresses. Any information you transmit to Carparts2u will be used only for the purpose for which you have provided it. We will not use your personal details or email address for any other purpose and will not disclose it without your consent. Carparts2u will not disclose these registered or stored details to any third party without your prior consent.
 
*Carparts2u's website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS or Email.
 

MOBILE TERMS OF SERVICE

The Carparts2u mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Carparts2u (“Carparts2u”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Carparts2u’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Carparts2u through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Carparts2u. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to Carparts2u or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Carparts2u mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
